Enrico Zambianchi
Enrico Zambianchi is full professor of Oceanography at the Parthenope University of Naples, Italy, where he also teaches Transport and Diffusion in the Ocean and in the Atmosphere, and is the coordinator of the international PhD course in Environmental Phenomena and Risks. He holds a Laurea in Physics from La Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, and a PhD in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography from the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science of the University of Miami, USA.
Former adjunct professor at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science of the University of Miami, USA and adjunct research scientist at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of the Columbia University, USA, former chairman of the WMO-IOC International Programme for Antarctic Buoys. His main research interests include lagrangian oceanography, transport processes in the ocean, coastal and polar oceanography.
