After finishing his studies and period with Costa Cruise, in 1992 he joined DNV where he covered several positions up to, Site Manager New Building Project Manager and Principal Surveyor.

Since 2002 he joins V Ships Leisure Montecarlo, Leading Ship Management, where since 2015 he was in charge as technical Director for the Global Leisure Division.

From beginning 2021 Giovanni has joined and is in charge of Rina Marine Consulting  as Senior Director involved  across the entire marine sector and marine industry in projects and managerial initiative.

He is Registered  as Chartered Engineer (UK Engineering Council), Fellow of Royal Institution Naval Architect (RINA), Member of the Society of Consulting Marine Engineers and Marine Surveyors UK (SCMS), Member of Associazione Ingegneri Periti Di Avarie Marittime (AIPAM).
